Contract Business Research Consultants
The Opportunity
We are seeking contract business research consultants to support projects in our Consulting Services Practice. The division supports institutions' needs to solve complex institutional problems through proprietary custom research and management consulting, and to support institutional decision-making in the areas of strategy development, investment plans, and resourcing.
Ideal candidates are critical thinkers with exceptional skills in research, writing, quantitative analysis, and presentation development, with a proven ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats. References from past business consulting projects will be requested.
Key Functional Areas
Contract business research consultants should possess expertise in one or more of the functional areas defined below:
- Advanced PowerPoint presentation development
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel usage (e.g. functions, graphics)
- Survey data analysis (e.g SPSS)
- Strategic interviewing
- Secondary source research and reporting (e.g literature review, school profiling)
- Database analysis and reporting (e.g. BLS, IPEDS, OECD)
- Market sizing and modeling
- White paper/prose writing
- Financial modeling (e.g. Pro Forma P&Ls)
- Survey programming
- Focus group facilitation
