  • Proactive and confident behavior when approaching colleagues or mentors with questions and updates
  • Maturity, professionalism, and patience

These part-time internship positions are unpaid and are designed to provide professional development and real-world experience to students. Interns are offered a dynamic and well-structured orientation session, opportunities to take part in company and department meetings and events, and individualized guidance (e.g., mentorship, performance evaluations, resume/interviewing development) throughout their learning experience at Eduventures. The Human Resources Specialist meets weekly with all student interns to exchange experiences and offer support and suggestions for development. Interns also receive other benefits during their time spent with Eduventures, including free monthly T passes, complimentary breakfast cereal, and a lunch with the company’s President & CEO.

“In my time at Eduventures, I had the opportunity to work with several analysts on projects involving market research on behalf of clients seeking to expand their business in the education marketplace. The research staff at Eduventures was knowledgeable, supportive, and went out of their way to include me in planning sessions and teleconferences with clients. If you are interested in education and e-learning but are not quite sure what specific part of the market you’d like to work in, having access to Eduventures’ analysts and their research products and archives provides invaluable exposure to the key trends and players. Also, I’m a graduate student and have had several internships and jobs since graduating several years ago. The internship program at Eduventures provided me with more orientation and support than I received at any other organization – including for salaried positions!”

– Erich, Harvard Graduate School of Education

My mentor as well as the other consultants took a real interest in my opinions and work, involving me in many aspects of the projects. This high level of involvement allowed me to not only observe the work that is done by a consulting group, but to also be a real contributor. At Eduventures, I found a place to explore my career interests, make friends with employees as well as other interns, and complete my education.”

    • Supporting the development of conference Web site
    • Helping to develop and track a conference budget

“My experience at Eduventures has been everything I could have asked for from an internship and more. This was my first internship, and I was worried that I’d be stuck doing ‘typical’ intern things – making copies, getting people coffee, etc. – basically, all the tasks that no one else wanted to do. But that hasn’t been the case at all. At EV they assign you tasks that matter – you can literally see the difference you are making in the company! I’ve worked hands-on in a number of campaigns and conferences and have seen my work in action. I’ve been treated as a member of the team since day one and have grown more and more comfortable in my role within the organization. It’s nice to know that when I leave I’ll be missed – not only for my sparkling personality, but for the hard work I put in with the team!”

– Pat, Fitchburg State College
