How do I log into the Web site?
To log into the Web site, click on the “Member Login” link in the upper right-hand corner of http://www.eduventures.com and enter your username and password in the boxes that appear.
What do I do if I have forgotten or did not receive my login?
If you have forgotten or did not receive your login, click on the “Forgot your password?” link in the upper right-hand corner of http://www.eduventures.com and enter in your e-mail address in the box provided. An automated e-mail from clientservices@eduventures.com will be sent to you with your username and a link to reset your password. If the system does not recognize your e-mail address, it will ask you to fill out a form, and someone from our Member Services team will contact you.
How does the Liaison get a username and password for the Web site?
The Liaison is the first person at an institution to receive a login for the Web site. This will arrive as an automated e-mail from clientservices@eduventures.com shortly after your institution becomes a member of a Learning Collaborative. It will contain a temporary username and password, which will allow you to login to create your permanent profile. Existing members should have received this e-mail when the new site launched in late February. If you are an existing member who did not receive your login by e-mail in late February, please contact Member Services at clientservices@eduventures.com.
How do other people at our institution get access to the Eduventures Web site?
Liaisons have the unique ability to give other individuals at their institutions access to the Eduventures Web site via the “Membership Management” tab. By inputting the individuals’ last names and e-mail addresses, an automated e-mail will be sent to them from clientservices@eduventures.com containing a temporary username and password. Each person will then be able to create his or her permanent profile upon logging into the site.
How do I remove someone’s access to the Web site?
To remove an individual’s access, log into the Eduventures Web site, then click on the Membership Management tab. On the Membership Management page, find the person’s name on the list of Active Seat Holders and click on the “Edit” link next to the name. On the Edit page, deselect an active Learning Collaborative by holding down the Ctrl key while clicking on the Learning Collaborative for which you would like to remove access, then click the “Submit” button.
How does the Liaison know if someone from his/her institution has logged in?
Under the Membership Management tab, there will be a list of registered Seat Holders. If someone that you have invited has not logged into the site and created a permanent profile, he/she will not be listed as a registered Seat Holder. If your institution is a member of multiple Learning Collaboratives, you will also see other Seat Holders at your institution, even if you are not the Liaison for the other Learning Collaboratives.
What does it mean to be an Eduventures Liaison?
The Liaison for a Learning Collaborative acts as the primary point of contact between the member institution and Eduventures’ staff. There is one Liaison designated for each Learning Collaborative at an institution. The Liaison helps facilitate logistical requests, prioritizes and communicates research needs for the institution, and encourages other people at the member institution to utilize Eduventures’ services.
What does it mean to be an Eduventures Seat Holder?
A Seat Holder is anyone who has access to the Eduventures Web site. Access is granted by the member institution’s Liaison. To find out who your institution’s liaison is, please click on Contact Us at http://www.eduventures.com and a Member Services representative will contact you as soon as possible. Seat Holders can assist the Liaison by participating in the Learning Collaborative, attending Member Roundtables, generating ideas for Custom Analysis to benefit the institution, and searching the Research Archive for relevant research.
