Quantitative Research Analysts

The Opportunity
We are searching for individuals with experience in program assessment and evaluation, business analysis, and survey research or similar quantitative research. Research Analysts will create customized, timely reports informed by reliable and valid survey data, descriptive statistics, and modeling. These individuals will play key roles in our research collaboratives, serving vice chancellors, deans, and director-level executives at top private and public universities across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting quantitative primary and secondary research to identify and analyze key issues and trends that university professionals face
  • Developing and executing quantitative research methodologies, including constituent surveying, benchmarking, and statistical modeling
  • Developing and delivering results to members on time, and highlighting recommendations and follow-up research opportunities
  • Identifying and designing appropriate quantitative measures and instruments
  • Determining and critiquing best demonstrated practices
  • Working with members to scope research needs and questions
  • Leading the development and drafting of reports/small-scale consulting projects
  • Assisting in the design, development, and delivery of collaborative research studies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred
  • A minimum of three years of experience in quantitative research design and analysis, including statistical modeling
  • Familiarity with survey research methods including design, implementation, analysis, and reporting
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to write clearly, concisely, and logically
  • Proven ability to translate quantitative data into clearly written business reports, and experience in business analysis and/or market research
  • Considerable experience in managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Project management skills
  • A business-oriented, entrepreneurial mind-set
  • Superior attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Proven history of working with executive-level organizational leaders in process/organizational redesign projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and client service ethic
  • Experience with SPSS, STATA, or similar statistical software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel


This is a full-time, salaried role with benefits, onsite in our Boston office.
