Senior Analysts
The Opportunity
These are exciting roles for individuals with education research or market research experience. Senior Analysts will play key roles in our research collaboratives, serving deans and director-level executives at top private and public universities across the country. These research collaboratives generate actionable data that assists deans and director-level executives in benchmarking against peers with respect to key performance management metrics and in conducting best practices analyses in a wide range of operational areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and executing an annual research agenda, including major investigations of topics of greatest interest to our members
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative primary research to identify and analyze effective practices and key university functions
- Managing a team of research analysts focused on meeting the custom research needs of individual universities
- Working effectively with a growing program membership in a way that returns significant value to individual participating institutions
- Representing Eduventures at third-party industry events and to the media
- Serving as a collegial subject-matter expert willing to go the extra mile for clients and colleagues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, master’s degree, or Ph.D. highly desirable; top graduate school preferred
- Three to 10 years of work history or significant experience in relevant academic fields
- Demonstrated experience in education research, business and market analysis, and hypothesis-driven research
- Familiarity with key issues related to higher education
- Skills in quantitative research in finance, economics, and/or statistics
- Strong writing ability and oral communication skills; ability to scope and frame issues
- Experience with presenting ideas to individuals or groups in a variety of settings
- Project management skills
- Experience engaging clients
- Understanding of and interest in business and policy issues in education
- An interest in working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
This is a full-time, salaried role with benefits, onsite in our Boston office.
