Outside Sales Executive/Midwest U.S. Region
The Opportunity
Eduventures is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking an experienced consultative Sales Executive to drive new business throughout our Midwest sales territory. The individual selected for this position will be a seasoned hunter who enjoys consistently meeting and exceeding quarterly goals. The ideal candidate is a polished professional who desires to be out in the field, building new relationships with senior academic executives and administrators at major colleges and universities. Sales executives are compensated with a base salary and unlimited commission-earning potential. Key Responsibilities
- Delivering in-person presentations to customer prospects
- Demonstrating best practices in consultative selling and building out our internal sales processes
- Generating new leads via networking and cross-selling
- Managing sales pipeline using CRM database
- Managing conference exhibitions, special events, and sales campaigns
- 50% travel is required
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree; an M.B.A. or M.Ed. is a plus
- Proven success in outside sales with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales quotas
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- A well-developed understanding of, and expertise in, the consultative sales approach
- Self-motivation, high-energy, charisma, and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Proven ability to help organizations think through business problems and to create opportunity
- Knowledge of, and familiarity with, the higher education community is a plus
