EDUVENTURES LEARNING COLLABORATIVES REACH TWO MILESTONE
Continuing and Professional Education
has 100th member
and newer Enrollment Management passes the 50-member
mark
(Boston, MA) May 21, 2007 - Since conceiving and launching its Learning Collaborative program just three years ago, Eduventures now enjoys a membership of more than 300 doctoral, master's, and baccalaureate institutions among five higher education practices: Continuing and Professional Education, Development, Enrollment Management, Online Higher Education, and most recently Student Affairs. Indicative of this growth, Eduventures' Continuing and Professional Education Learning Collaborative has enrolled its 100th member, and after just one year the Enrollment Management Collaborative has 50 members.
"Heading into the second year, the Enrollment Management membership renewal rate is 95%" said Brent Keltner, senior vice president of Eduventures' administrative Learning Collaboratives. "With each new program launch, we are finding greater and greater acceptance and participation in our unique collaborative research model," added Peter Stokes, executive vice president and Keltner's counterpart in the firm's academic Learning Collaboratives.
The ultimate objective of each Learning Collaborative is to provide insights and direction to identify best management practices, benchmark performance, and improve core processes. To do so, the Eduventures Learning Collaboratives work with members to identify key areas to research on their behalf. Eduventures then aggregates the data, analyzes it, and publishes the findings to the membership. In addition to collaborative research, Eduventures also provides the membership with access to its staff of expert industry analysts, on-campus support, custom research, annual member meetings, and numerous peer networking opportunities.
Tom Dretler, Eduventures' president and CEO since 1998, said, "When we launched our first Collaborative in 2004, our goal was to simply expand on the company's mission of improving education. We figured the shared-cost collaboration model would give more and more colleges and universities the opportunity to make better decisions by having available to them a level of data-driven information and access to analysts, which had only been available historically through individual consulting engagements. The growth and the positive impact we have experienced with our membership has been enormously gratifying. We are confident that we can continue to build our model by offering new Collaboratives to our current membership and expanding our membership base to reach thousands of higher education institutions across North America.
