Eduventures Releases New White Paper for College and University Development Leaders
Paper Provides Examples of Eduventures Research, Data Analysis and Its Impact on
Development Programs
(Boston, MA) December 10, 2008 – Eduventures, Inc., the leader in research, analysis, and consulting for higher education, has announced the release of a new white paper aimed at college and university development and advancement executives titled How Research Can Help Emerging Development Programs. Based on the work Eduventures conducts for its Development Learning Collaborative, a member-driven research program, the paper highlights common challenges development offices face and how members drew upon research to impact their advancement operations and strategy.
Some challenges discussed in the paper were how to increase gift officer productivity, how to broaden an institution’s major gift prospect pool, how to determine appropriate staffing and budget levels for a major campaign, as well as how to identify effective stewardship practices at other institutions. Examples were organized by research method – data analysis, benchmarking, and best practices and case studies.
